"The Pain Remits" EP
So many labels and even more bands of extreme metal try to release something that will move the people that listen to this kind of music. And suddenly, I received this self-financed release from Slave Zero and it made me realize that the hope for something good in the metal scene lies deep in the underground scene. Some might say that they are a bit old - fashioned, but who cares… Tell me all this use of triggers and effects didn’t turn the death metal scene a bit “faceless”? Here at least you will listen to music that has personality. Slave Zero have, as their guides, bands like OBITUARY and DEATH mainly and secondly you will find influences from PANTERA and SIX FEET UNDER. All the songs are great and truly I had a long time to listen to so complete and mature music that combines technical skills and feelings. And the best part is that the EP closes with the song “Faceless” which represents perfectly the sound of the group. If you have a label and you read this, just sign the band.
