Slave Zero formed in 2000 and released their first album 'The Defiant Stand' in 2002 to critical acclaim.
Merging a variety of genres from Death Metal, Thrash, Hardcore and Grindcore the band gigged extensively across Ireland before recruiting the services of Graeme V Flynn, Andy Coade and John Roche for the 2006 EP 'The Pain Remits'.

The strengthening of the members and hard work ethic of the band saw them shortlisted for the BWBK unsigned band of the year in 2006 and subsequently attracted interest from international labels on the back of the EP release.
Over the next 3 years the band would go on to gig in venues in Europe and play with lots of reputable Hardcore, Thrash and Metal bands including Hatebreed, Cephalic Carnage, Exodus to name but a few.

In 2009 the band released their 2nd album 'Exempt from all Tolerance' through their independent label 'Double Standard Productions' which saw the musical direction incorporate more technical, grind and death metal influences.
Shortly after the initial Irish tour, long time drummer Bob Ryan departed ways with band and in stepped Ben Wanders.

In 2010 Ben played his first gig with band at the 10 year anniversary show. The band also played gigs with bands such as Cattle Decapitation (Andy's last show with Slave Zero) as well as Soilent Green and Desecration with Karol Kosc taking over bass duties.

Karol parted ways with the band in 2012 but continues to work with the band to promote the new release. Slave Zero are due to release their new EP 'Disambiguated Visionary' in November 2013.
They have recruited Paddy Kiernan on bass to fulfil gigging duties. The new release incorporates new lyrical themes; new musical influences and is the bands most progressive and heavy musical work to date.
